Resonator delete?

I just want some sound out of my 08 mz3. I been looking around so the Mazda 3 has 2 cats and 1 resonator? Am I wrong or are they all different? Because I can't even find a labeled 08 mz3 exhaust diagram!

Has anyone removed the second cat and resonator? How did it sound?

Choosing to upgrade or change the OEM exhaust system for sound is a trial-and-error event. Everyone's taste in what sounds good is different. As of what to use to replace them with, that again is all personally opinion on what an individual thinks sounds good.
As for power increases there are mufflers that do not produce and actually change the power curve so much that on a streetcar lower the normal operation engine speeds power. Choosing to delete or replace the resonator and or the rear muffler is a CFM and math formula to at least choose a start at what to ultimately achieve. Seat of the pants or butt Dyno responses are not really the best advice to take.
I might add that depending of what mufflers are chosen there is a break in period for the muffler in many cases . The sound generally changes after about 3-5k miles. So IMO it is better to find videos from owners of engines similar to yours and see what they are uses if you like their sound.
I might suggest that if you are in the USA it is illegal to remove any CAT and visit a federal reservation or park. In some case it can easily escalate to a felony.
On the other note altering the exhaust removing CAT can change how the sensors give information to the ECU which can alter the engines performance in a negative way. Without ECU calibrating to correct for the change in the exhaust you could without knowing eventually damage the engine!
This can be seen by watching your CAT temps, and Ho2 voltage as well the AFR voltage or ratio's.

The phrase often responded on forums is "I have done exhaust mods for years and run X=miles with no problems"!

Taks this information for what its worth to you! LOL
