They were far too inconsistent with dates of availability for me to ever consider ordering from them. If they couldnt get the products built and CARB approved in a timely manner, I had no faith in them getting a product to me, which is why I never ordered things from them. I hope you guys get some resolution, but without suing Ricardo or someone in small claims, you're probably screwed.

To those that say they can't see F2 ripping anyone off....LMAO, they've ALREADY ripped off countless people. This is just adding insult to injury. My apologies. The comments above were about the new operators, not Ricardo.

I'll withhold my personal criticism for the business owner, but I'll just say that if you can't actually fill orders and communicate with customers, you shouldn't have been in business to begin with. There are no excuses.

the problem with using paypal to pay for an order is that technically you shouldn't be billed until the item is shipped. credit card companies will put an authorization hold on your account for the amount - but you aren't actually billed until the item is shipped. in most cases when you pay with paypal, you release payment immediately.

I would still try to file a dispute with paypal - and in the future anytime you place an order for something, use a credit card. even if your paypal payment is made with a credit card versus withdrawing from your bank account you'll still have recourse with your credit card company.

i'll do that next time. I already filed dispute. Paypal only using it as a reference and not willing to do anything else

email removed as requested by Tony
[/quote]
Oh, now you are going to let him bully you around, and let him threaten you to remove a nasty, lying email to you? I would have left that up so everyone could read it, to let everyone know what a scum bag he is being. I would consider removing it once I got my refund, because who knows, you might still not get it.

I wish I quoted your post so I could show it. I will NEVER buy from tony.

WHY take over F2, a failing business that owes lots of people money, be liable for them, and just change there name to something else? What sense does that make??? Just start your new, fresh company without all the baggage. But yet here tony is, taking over F2 and fucking over all these people. It's like a "way out" for ricardo. Who knows, tony could be ricardo. If i were more computer savvy, i'd look ricardo up and find out where he lives and get on a law suit as soon as possible. Hell, i'd go knock on his damn door and order him to give me my $4,000 if he owed me.

Hey as far as I 'am aware an owner of a business must first incorporate that business to make it a separate entity and attach the liability to the actual company instead of the owner, i.e. if F2 were F2 inc. and I wanted my money back I would would have to go after the company itself and the owner himself would not be liable, as far as I'am aware this is not the case with F2.

If my assumption is correct the liability stays with Vega regardless of the transfer of inventory to Tony, Tony did not accept anyones money, Tony did not technically defraud anyone....the money paid and transfered went inot Vega's account, and I' am almost 100% sure there is a data trail that can be used to prove this in a court of law.....as someone mentioned before IF Tony is really Tony and not Vega or someone he has running interferance/damage control, I must admit I myself am a bit suspecious but I have decided to afford the people involved a little bit more time to make good before I unleash hell.......nobody fucking rips me off is all I' am saying and I'll leave it at that.

MX I think you are losing perspective here, just because a guy buys a failing businesse's inventory doesn't mean the responsibility of what had transpired previously automatically gets passed along.

Tabasco, since your edit, I guess I misunderstood what Tony said, or maybe I didnt.

I thought I read somewhere that he bought or was handed F2, and since then, he decided to change it's name to something else. He made it seem like it was a "family" business, and he is trying to save it or something. It's Tony's fault for being quite vague on this, and being short at that.

Well i'm kindda screwed now. My stuff is all on Tony's hands, if i dont get it i'm going after someone. Freak i'm soo pissed i'm selling my 3 later october. Save up for a actual track car like a subbie. I sent back all my engine crane and engine stand. Don't need it no more. I'm suppose to build a high compression engine.

its 1.4k of hard earned money in hopes for fun well spent but now its like dead weight to me. Also I have paper trails. Paypal, reciepts in the box with cranks etc etc

So far I' am out 3250.00, I feel your pain man! I talked to tony I think on monday or tuesday, hard to remember it was a rough week at work, anyway he was asking me for a parts list of what Vega had sent me, said he didn't want to screw around and ship stuff I already had .......I' am still pissed off about the way Vega handled my situation and as I find out more and more how he left other people hanging it just makes him look worse, I don't think he realizes how badly he has screwed up and opened himself to a world of legal consequences.

Everyone needs to gather the information an take legal steps, its obvious theyr just trying to buy time. tony doesn't seem like he's really doing what needs to be done...he's already stopped posting, just like vega.

Someone is gonna pay big for this be it vega or this tony guy.

I guarantee you that if Ricardo or whatever his name is couldn't even operate a small business that he in no way removed his liability for prior business. I seriously, seriously doubt the new owners/caretakers would buy the liabilities of a failing business.

Anyone that's owed a few grand worth of parts shouldn't wait for "Tony", they should file suit. Early bird gets the worm. Don't wait to be 10th in line waiting for your civil judgment.

this is the details of my order. right now i have the engine package only, later after Ricardo told me the kit was stolen by UPS i gave him list of suspension and drivetrain parts but still the same nothing!

Qty. Products Total
1 ea. 2.3L and 2.0L Duratec Piston, Rod and Bearings $945.00
1 ea. Stage 2 Turbo Kit (Mazda6) For Hussam $4,060.00

the order number is 789.

Stolen by UPS? This guy is a crook. There has got to be a way to find out where this scum lives. I dont know, track his IP address or something. Google maps this guy. His Ford Focus license plate has to be out there on the net somewhere in his pictures, im sure there is a way to track what address that plate is registered to.

anyone have a last name for him?
Ricardo Vega.

Sucks to see that this situation has gone this route... The one thing im happy I did was I didnt give him a single penny till my engine had arrived at my home. Sad to see others werent so lucky with getting parts.

I'm owned $1.4k. I want a refund but they not giving it. All i want is to send back the crank, conn rods and get my money back.

So technically i'm owned $1.4k. Missing baffle kit, BSD, pistons, piston rings, thrust and main bearings, rear oil seal. If i got my money, i will stfu and let the problem be. way to go for customer satisfaction
