I'm being entirely sarcastic. Make sure you grab a heat shield for that thing.

Lol, good. IIRC Raceland copied the JR for their header. Is a heat shield only for intake temps? I have cold-side intake!

Details of cold-side intake. Yay for NB having plenty of room behind the headlight, and having long enough MAF and IAT sensor wires.

I really need to clean my bay, paint my valve cover, and start tucking/moving some of the shit on the passenger side!

Clean. You got and deets of the car in your avatar?

Thanks!

That, in my Avi, is my school's Formula SAE race car (Kettering University). That is the 2011 car that ran at comp last year, and we are currently building our 2012 car. I was recently designated lead suspension designer, so I'm working on the design of the 2013 car.

Our 2011 car is a steel space frame, 363 lbs, double wishbone with pullrod actuation, Honda TRX450cc making about 50 hp through a 20mm intake restriction. Our 2012 car is a very similar chassis, but with a Yamaha WR450. 2013 will be a total redesign, including switching from 13" wheels to 10" wheels, which means literally everything changes (except the engine).

Neat-o! Yeah, we've (Georgia Tech) got an SAE car, too. Unfortunately, I never got involved in that. I'm wondering if they let recent graduates partake in the build... Hmm...

I was looking at building a Locost 7, but that whole welding and custom suspension knowledge (or lack thereof) is slowing me down. Also, time and money.

I will have MSM Bilsteins soon.. like today depending on when my buddy's Xidas come in the mail. My other friend also just told me he accidently ordered GC perches and springs for Bilsteins, but needed for Konis, so I'll be getting those!

Very nice, post clips of the exhaust! I do want to do a full header back system one day.

I've been compiling clips on the GoPro! Once I get all the shots I want, I'll put them together and post it!
